We stayed in room 3 for one week and our every need was met. The bed was soooo comfortable. We had a huge wardrobe and a fridge in our room with an ensuite shower bathroom. The shower was lovely and powerful. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk and a jar of biscuits in our room which were replenished when we ate them 😋 Breakfast choices were plentiful, varied and beautifully cooked and presented. The lounge was lovely and a great place to take a break from rushing around. Gunta even made us a map of places to visit on the way to and from John O Groats. Overall, everything was spotlessly clean, Gunta was a very attentive host and we hope to go back one day. Our little ‘Home from Home’ in the Scottish Highlands 💓.

I have stayed in many B&Bs over my time working in various places. But this was definitely my favorite, the room had a huge comfy warm bed and a big spacious room with a fridge. The hosts were very accommodating and allowed run of the house. Were also good for a chat. Would recommend it to anyone.

This b&b is a rare find – Gunta is an expert host who goes out of her way to make one’s stay faultless. The rooms are crisp and clean. The sitting room is a comfortable and homely. And then there’s the food – fantastic – the lamb shanks an absolute highlight. Breakfast was also delish (note that breakfast and dinner are additional costs to the room tariff). As cyclists we found this a real haven. It is excellent value for money and well worthy of its 5 star rating.

Staying at Beechwood Lodge was a truly special experience. From the very beginning, I felt welcomed with genuine warmth and kindness. The peaceful atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and thoughtful touches throughout made it so much more than just a place to stay – it became a real source of comfort during a difficult time. My four days there created memories I will always treasure. Beechwood Lodge is a place where you don’t just stay; you heal, you breathe, and you leave with a lighter heart. Thank you for everything – I will always remember my time with you.

We had such a wonderful long weekend break at Beechwood Lodge thanks to Gunta who is a fantastic host, so friendly and welcoming. The room was large and comfortable as was the bed, and they really have  thought of everything you might need and breakfast was delicious with lots to choose from. What really made the trip special were the days we spent exploring. Thanks to Gunta’s local knowledge we saw so much beautiful scenery and went on walks we never would have found by ourselves and for the many people who told us not to go to the Highlands in winter how wrong they were, yes there was some rain but this only added to the magnificence of the rivers and waterfalls, and we had the most amazing boat trip on Loch Ness with blue skies and no hordes of people to share with. The meals that were arranged for us at the best local restaurants for each night was delicious and after that, it was nice to relax at the B&B lounge by the fireplace watching Netflix after a long day walking. Definitely home from home, can’t wait for our next trip as there is so much to see and do.

The best place to stay! A group of Irish bikers landed at Beechwood Lodge very hungry and very tired and Gunta made us an amazing steak dinner and we had the best night’s sleep in beautiful rooms. By far, the best place we stayed on our trip – thanks!

Gunta is a very nice and lovely person, she took great care of me, my family, friends. I enjoyed my stay. The bed was very comfortable. I could drown in those nice and fluffy pillows. I also really loved the breakfast. I’m really happy that Gunta encouraged me to have fruits with my pancakes because I really loved the strawberries with the Nutella Pancakes. I would rate my stay 1,000,000/5. Thank you for taking great care of us Gunta, and I hope to see you maybe in the UK (where we live)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Beechwood Lodge with a group of friends, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience. The peaceful surroundings of the lodge provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The hospitality we received from the hosts was exceptional – they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.During our week-long stay, we had the opportunity to explore the surrounding areas including Inverness, Dunrobin Castle, and take walks in the beautiful wilderness. The hosts were incredibly knowledgeable about the area and provided us with valuable advice on what to do and see during our visit.

Overall, our stay at Beechwood Lodge was nothing short of fantastic. I highly recommend this charming lodge to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat in Scotland with excellent hospitality and friendly hosts. The cozy ambiance, comfortable beds, and lovely bathrooms made for a truly relaxing stay.
